Football coach and web developer

Hamza Moustaid is a CAF C licensed football coach and a self-employed web developer, originally from Boujad and based between Mohammedia and Casablanca.

The playing background runs through the Moroccan academy system: Union Sportive Bejaad from U14 to U18, Olympique Club de Khouribga at U19, then Jeunesse Sportive Oulad Abdoun at U21 and first team. Club football ended at 22 as studies and work took priority, though playing continued — including trials with TFA in Sharjah and Royal FC in Ras Al Khaimah, and amateur football across eight countries.

On the technical side: an auto-entrepreneur in Morocco, running CarteCadeaux.ma since 2019 and building web and mobile products. Previous roles include Shopify full-stack developer, and Chief Product Officer and SEO consultant at Overflow Digital Solutions. In 2017 he represented Morocco in Web Design and Development at WorldSkills in Abu Dhabi. He holds a Master’s in Computer Engineering, Big Data and Cloud Computing from ENSET Mohammedia.

The two disciplines inform each other more than they appear to. Coaching is the practice of breaking something complex into a session a group can actually follow; engineering is the practice of making the tool disappear behind the work. MySoccerPad exists because the session planner this coaching needed did not.
